White Moss enlist local schools for logo for new brand

White Moss would like to launch a new brand of compost aimed at the younger gardener with a wide age demographic of 10-24 years. Our sales and marketing team came up with a brand name, but we are in need of a logo for this brand. Given this need White Moss has decided to seek creative ideas from the target demographic and have approached two local schools; Kirkby CofE Primary School and St Laurence’s Catholic Primary School to encourage their year 5 pupils to design a logo.

We have given the schools 2 weeks (Deadline July 16th) to come up with their designs by which White Moss Managing Director, Sales Director and Marketing Coordinator will select the best designed from both schools, and then they will be re-created by our graphic designer. The overall chosen design will then be selected and announced at the start of the autumn term in September.

White Moss has offered this out as a competition with a best deign selected from both schools, and an overall winner. Prizes include free compost for the schools to use in the gardens and encourage students to grow their own, Toys R Us Vouchers and a Kindle Paperwhite.

It was a very hard job to pick just two winners from the many amazing designs you had submitted, but we finally made a decision and the winners were:

Kyla Morris- Kirkby CofE

James Tootle- St Laurence’s
